Scholarship Title: Australian Keyboard
Academy Scholarship B
The aim of the Australian Keyboard
Academy Scholarship is to develop and nurture students that are dedicated to
their music studies. One half-fee scholarships
for one year of Keyboard Tuition undertaken at the Australian Keyboard Academy
will be awarded to one child between the ages
of 5 to 12 years.

To be eligible for a scholarship you
must be:
1. Between the ages of 5-12 years old
2.
Australian citizen
Conditions:
3. Half Fees for One (1) Year for Private A Tuition - (Scholarship B)
4. Scholarship is not transferable or redeemable for cash
5. Scholarship does not include books and resources
6. The Scholarship can only be used for Keyboard Tuition Private A (Scholarship
B)
7. The scholarship can only be undertaken at the Australian Keyboard Academy
8. The primary criteria used to assess all
applications will be academic merit.
9. The Academy will consider the extent to which it feels you will fulfil the
aims of the Keyboard program.
10. Short listed applicants must attend an interview.
11. Past Scholarship recipients can not apply.
How will scholarship recipients be selected?
Interview
Short listed applicants will be required to attend an interview.
The
Australian Keyboard Academy will select the successful applicants. Decisions are final and no
correspondence will be entered into regarding unsuccessful applications.
If you are awarded a Keyboard Scholarship you must be
prepared to abide by the conditions of the scholarship. The Australian Keyboard
Academy reserves the right to cancel or withdraw a scholarship if, in its
opinion, the purposes for which the scholarship was approved change
substantially.
If
you decide not to continue with your scholarship for any reason throughout the
duration of the scholarship, the Australian Keyboard Academy reserves the right
to provide the remainder of the scholarship to another applicant.
What do I need to provide the Australian
Keyboard Academy with to apply?
In
order to provide the Australian Keyboard Academy with a complete application,
you must present;
-
All academic results from 2008 to date;
and
-
Two academic referee letters.
Applicants
will be notified as to the success of their application in February of 2009.
