The Australian Keyboard Academy run a number of free
activities for all students to participate throughout the year. It's a great
exchange for when students are unable to attend their weekly scheduled lesson.
Mozartini
Orchestra
Mozartini Orchestra is regarded as
“Australia’s Youngest Children’s Orchestra” and have performed at all major
Brimbank Shopping Centers, Sunshine Hospital, Royal Children’s and Royal
Melbourne Hospital and perform annually at the Funtasia and Brimbank Festivals.
Students of Excellence
Students of excellence performance program fosters formal concert performances
opportunities for students that demonstrate a high level of musicianship,
technical virtuosity, commitment to their music studies and that demonstrate
excellence within their age group. Venues include public places of interests,
restaurants, music and art venues.
Free Ensemble Workshops
The free ensemble workshops are a fantastic opportunity for students of
different instruments to get together and play music.
Free First Grade Music Theory
Throughout the year the Academy conduct free first grade music theory courses
for students. The duration of the course is between 8 to 20 weeks. Books and
resource cost are $40.00. The actual classes are free. Parents save up to
$400.00. Students are encouraged to sit their first grade theory exam once they
have completed the course.
